Tsumago is around 7km from Magome. The people and architecture of Tsumago are very similar to that of Magome with samurais, merchants houses and cobbled streets. There are also family homes and some are even semi-open and you can see inside. Another attraction of the village is an old water mill. In the village there is even a small temple, very charming. In addition there are many flowers, which we known are so dear to the Japanese.
This was a dream come true. It's a natural onsen in the middle of the Japanese mountains. In the middle of autumn, the hot springs have water at 41°C. Everything is extremely kind and the service is great. The Takaragawa onsen is a place to rest, relax and dream. With your yukata set (a kind of Japanese robe), you can eat a Japanese feast and sleep on a futon in a heated tatami. I won't tell anymore since surprises are the best. Pure pleasure.
