The Roppongi district in Tokyo is best-known for its bars and nightclubs, in addition to its nightlife. I went during the day to Roppongi Hills, which is a huge, hyper-modern, and very impressive complex that combines housing, shopping and entertainment in one convenient and modern shopping center. Millions of visitors flock to the restaurants and shops in this neighborhood, especially during the weekends. The complex also includes a traditional Japanese garden. In my opinion, Roppongi Hills is a place in Japan that combines tradition and modernity.
A pedestrian street in Kamakura which starts near Kamakura station and leads to the shrine of Hachiman-gu Tsurugaoka. The busy street is full of shops of traditional objects (like beautiful kimonos), food and wine tasting.
