The expression "the stuff you poo" haha doesn't apply in this situation. The food isn't bad, but it's more about the original concept of the restaurant. It's not every day you get to eat sitting on a toilet or a bathtub. This restaurant opened in 2004 as selling ice cream poop and two years later innovated with more dishes. It's a place to have a good time with family, friends or partner.
This restaurant is a pretty small place, and if you're sitting next to the kitchen it can get a little hot, but the food was pretty good. Its specialty is cheese Katsu Don, and they also have seared fish dishes and sushi. Like many small places in Taipei, it gives away Miso soup and tea for free. The price is from 100 NT$ 200 NT$, ie less than 5€-10€, more or less.
Toucheng is a small village on the east coast Taiwan, popular with surfers and lovers of hot springs beaches. Crossing Toucheng, you can have "Good morning" coffee, from 5:00 until 2:00 p.m. The place is always packed on weekends and offers burgers, breads, pancakes, Taiwanese wankes and other sandwiches. There's also Taiwanese and Japanese rice dishes. Easy to find, this restaurant is run by a young Taiwanese couple, located on the main street. Dynamic and friendly welcome.
