Restaurant specializing in seafood and hot, freshly made snacks. This is a typical seafood restaurant which has been in the same family for two generations. They have won several competitions: Audience Award Santurce pintxos 2008, Jury Prize at the II contest Santurce pintxos 2009, Special prize concuso pintxos in Bilbao -Bizkaia 2008 and Award for product quality in pintxos Contest Bilbao-Bizkaia 2009. http://www.Pazodoval.Com/ Santurce member has WIFI Gastromonika
I do not remember how I got to this place, but I can remember that the location is perfect to finish an interesting visit to the fishing village of Santurce. The daily menu is very good, I enjoyed a really good seafood macaroni. The views of Abra Bay are priceless. The restaurant is located in the Swim Club and has a lively atmosphere and excellent service. At first I was almost alone, but gradually the restaurant filled up and then I realized that they had many tables reserved, especially for tourists. It is easily accessible though it is on the top floor of the swimming club!.
The Office is another place where I usually have coffee in Santurce. This cafe is located in the Parque de Santurce, in the center of town. The coffee costs 1.40 Euro. It has changed owners and now also serves a daily menu at 9 Euros.
The Café-Bar Miramar is located in Santurce, next to Sardinera Park. When I go over there to see my family, I usually drop by as they do a very good coffee with foam, just as I like. Aside from great coffee, they have a good tapas bar.
This place has improved a lot since I took Joseba Ramos, in November 2009. It has been refurbished, giving an elegant touch, which I liked. The quality of the food has brought fame to this restaurant, the bar is full of fresh seafood on weekends. For me, the Sebastian crab and lobster with rice is the best, oh and the tiramisu. I found references to the new ownership at http://kaialdesanturtzi.Wordpress.Com.
When I visit Santurce I always tend to eat at this brewery. The brewery has numerous tables that fit about 8 people. It has both indoor seating and a covered terrace area with sea views. It is self service and orders come with trays, tablecloths, napkins and silverware. Then you take it and you settle where you want. Their signature dish is the roast chicken (very rich), but they also have steaks, nuggets, burgers, salads, and weekends, squid rings. The quality is not particularly noteworthy (s food rather "battle"), but the place is nice and cheap, so it is ideal for large groups.
Situated in the city of Getxo, you can enter free of charge. There are many advertisements for activities in the municipality, like the sandstone church of San Ignacio. The stone comes from quarries Berango (2 km).
This restaurant in Santurce offers a variety of dishes from the traditional cuisine of the Basque region. The highlights were the meat and fish in general, such as the excellent Basque cod, suckling pig and sardines. It is open every day of the week.
